Expecting Some Heavy Winds

As usual, I've been doing a lot of research before my trip.  It's important to know what kind of gear I will need on the trail.  It's also important to know what I won't need to keep my pack as light as possible for the five days of hiking.
As I continue my research, I'm discovering I'm very likely to experience some high winds along the way.  Check out this video:

Semester Break at the Bottom of the World


I just booked my airfare and I'm getting ready to visit the famous Patagonia Mountains in Chili.  I'll be there over semester break; leaving Dallas on December 23rd and returning on January 2nd.

I'm hoping you will all join me by following my blog.  There will be lots of opportunities for you to earn house point; even before I leave.
